CNC Operator/ Multi-Spindle Operator

We are currently looking for 2nd and 3rd shift CNC Machine Operators (entry level or experienced) to work for a wonderful client of ours in Mooresville. This is a state-of-the-art facility, clean and climate controlled, wonderful break room and vending, PLUS AN ONSITE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL that you can utilize if you are feeling under the weather!! This is a family oriented company who is looking for employees who are looking for a long term career and work place HOME..

ü  2nd – 2pm-10pm (currently working about 9-hour shifts)

ü  3rd – 10pm- 6am (currently working about 9-hour shifts)

Job Summary

Performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

·       Run assigned mechanical equipment

·       Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements

·       Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments

·       Read and interpret blue prints if applicable2 O

·       Use moderately advanced measuring instruments

·       Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

·       Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

·       Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

·       Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

·       Perform work under minimal supervision

·       Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff

·       Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter

·       Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience

·       Ability to interpret work instructions

·       Ability to follow written and verbal directions

·       Basic verbal and written communication skills

·       Basic mathematical skills
